THATâS WHAT FRIENDS ARE FOR
âCome on baby you can do it ⦠push ⦠push ⦠keep on pushinâ. Brina coached Stephanie on as the doctor watched on.
âI canât Sisâ, Stephanie started cryin.
âThis is hurting meeeâ.
âCome on Mrs. Jones you are goin to have to try ⦠push like you have to use the bathroom ⦠donât strain your faceâ.
âIâm tryinâ she said as she pushed harder.
After the incident at Lloydâs funeral prompted me to marry Stephanie as soon as possible, that next weekend I arranged a small ceremony for us. Sabrina seems to make her way into our life every chance she gets just cause she knows it aggra-vates me and has me on pins and needles. Although we married the death of my boy had me whiling out, I barely made it to the delivery of the baby. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by none other then Sabrina and Jesse.
âGlad you could make itâ Sabrina said sarcastically, she wanted so bad to expose our relationship to Steph but she knew Steph would cut her off again and she didnât want to chance losin her sister all over ⦠âYeahâ, I responded.
âWaah Waahâ the cries of the baby stopped all of us in our tracks. The atten-tion was directed back to Stephanie.
âOh my goodness he looks just like Lloyd baby ⦠look at lil Lloyd Jr.â âSo thatâs what up ⦠his name is Lloydâ I said.
âYeah bay we canât have it no other wayâ
âI love you girlâ
âI love you tooâ
We all went home like one happy family. Me, Lil Lloyd and Stephanie oh, we canât forget Sabrina and Jesse. They had become permanent xtures on the wall in our house. I really donât didnât complain cause they kept Stephanie busy. Everything was made to perfection when Stephanie walked into our room, she was exhausted so I tucked her into bed.
âBefore I go pick up something to eat do anybody want somethingâ? Sabrina yelled, I knew she wasnât talkin to me so I didnât respond. âNoâ Jesse and Stephanie said in unison.
âGood cause Iâll be gone a minute ⦠um Fonzie try to act like you
gotta fuckin baby now and sit yo ass at homeâ Sabrina said as she walked towards the door.
âBrina fuck youâ I said tryin really to avoid confrontation.
Stephanie and the baby were sound asleep while me and Jesse nished up a half gone fth of Absolute that we had just so happen to be drinkin on when Stephanie went into labor.
âI am so happy for yallâ Jesse said.
âAnd LL look just like Lloyd donât heâ?
âYeah he do, my lil man is neâ
âYes he is â¦â Jesse took a deep breath âhuuuuh.â¦
I am so tired, today has been long and yo ass got me drinkin and shit,
you know how dis shit have me nigga aint shit changedâ.
âYeah well at least you wit da fam so you ainât gone be on no bullshit.â âYeah aight Famâ Jesse said sarcastically, we both giggled. âWhy you say it like datâ I questioned her wonderin if I was jus buzzin
and takin shit the wrong way.
